Yesterday, April 7, the Dutch mail and logistics company TNT announced that its mail division, TNT Post, would be rebranded as PostNL. This is part of TNT's divestment of the mail division which will be turned into an independent company with activities in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the UK and Italy. "Royal" will still be a part of the company name, and a crown will still be included in the logo.
The new name will launch on May 31, after approval from shareholders on May 25. The new look will then be rolled out in the Netherlands over a period of time, and later in International markets.
