Last week, the Russian bank Russ-Bank (Русь-банк) officially changed its name to Rosgosstrah Bank (Росгосстрах Банк) to further associate itself with the insurance giant Rosgosstrah, which has been an important partner for the bank.
The new logo consists of the name written in some sort of burgundy colour, with a plus sign in gold.
According to a press release, specialists and consultants from both Russia and the United Kingdom were involved in the rebrand. Signage will be replaced during the fall of 2012, and the rebrand should be completed by early 2012.
